About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) position is in Outpatient Behavioral Health, serving both Adult & Pediatric Mental Health. The role is part-time (0.6 FTE, 48 hours per two weeks) with a schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday. There is a weekend rotation of approximately one weekend every 3 months, involving short AM shifts, and a holiday rotation of approximately one holiday every 2 years. This position offers variety in patient care, including direct patient care, phone triage, and in-basket messaging. It provides learning opportunities in mental health and addiction services, including methadone and suboxone treatment, within a supportive team environment. The compensation starts at $34.65/hour, with a weekend differential, and emphasizes work-life balance with predictable weekday hours and limited weekend/holiday requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license to practice in Wisconsin
  • CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient behavioral health nursing care across adult and pediatric programs.
  • Manage in-basket tasks, phone triage, injections, and intakes.
  • Support addiction treatment programs through weekend coverage (suboxone, methadone dosing).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
