About The Position

Charleston Heart Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and help ensure patients receive high-quality, efficient care. The role supports patient flow and care in a physician practice, including screening and preparing patients for exams, providing general nursing care, and coordinating testing or admissions. The nurse also instructs patients and families, maintains patient records, administers medications as ordered, checks rooms for supplies, and responds to incoming calls. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday during the day, with no nights, on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• List current license information on the application.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, including screening and preparing patients for examinations, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing or admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
• Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
