Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment, long-term patient relationships, and opportunities to apply a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The nurse will work with a supportive clinical team and may float to nearby clinics as needed. A flexible schedule is required, and training may take place at a clinic other than the employee’s home location.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
