About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to assigned medical/surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, bariatric, urology, and neurosurgical patients. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to provide care, communicating with members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure patient goals are met, and providing excellent customer service while supporting patients’ and families’ physical and emotional health. This is a benefit-eligible position scheduled for 24 hours per week on the night shift, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The position is non-exempt.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Act 33/73 clearances.
• PEARS required within one year of hire or transfer.
• Clinical rotation through an educational program.
• Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Clinical experience within the past three years, or completion of a refresher course within the last year.
