About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to assigned medical/surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, bariatric, urology, and neurosurgical patients. The role uses the nursing process to provide care and communicates with members of the health care team to help ensure patient goals are met and care is coordinated. The nurse also provides excellent customer service while supporting patients’ and families’ physical and emotional health.

This position is 24 hours per week on the night shift, with hours of 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. It is benefit eligible and non-exempt.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Act 33/73 Clearances.
• PEARS required within one year of hire or transfer.
• Clinical rotation through an educational program.
• Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Clinical experience within the past three years or completion of a refresher course within the last year.
