The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents and their families, providers, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. In this long-term care setting, the RN cares for residents across phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; coordinates care; conducts resident assessments and education; and performs other nursing interventions. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, providing the support needed for safe and reliable care and to resolve care or service concerns. Practice follows applicable nursing laws, regulations, professional standards, and the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics. The position is a 36-hour-per-week day-shift role, scheduled from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation required. The job posting lists a salary range of $32.00–$48.00 and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
