About The Position
Benedictine is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join its care team and help provide compassionate care for residents. The role is based on the principles of integrated nursing and includes performing assessments, planning and providing care, implementing interventions, evaluating outcomes, and maintaining professional nursing standards. The RN develops individualized plans of care based on assessment and diagnosis, administers medications correctly, and provides education to residents, families, and caregivers. Benedictine is a not-for-profit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. Requirements
- Hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Have the organizational skills needed to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment and diagnosis.
- Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations while maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications and administer them correctly.
- Plan and provide education for residents, families, and caregivers.
