About The Position
The Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) provides supervisory visits for non-skilled in-home personal care clients. The nurse can set a flexible schedule and designate the service area, which includes the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas. Compensation is listed as $65 per initial assessment, $55 per reassessment/6-month visit, $30 for a missed visit when a client is not home for a planned visit, $30 per in-service/class, $20 per aide orientation when additional clinical training is needed, and $20 per hour for office work. Assessments or visits for clients more than 30 miles from the agency receive an additional $5 per visit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supervisory visits for non-skilled clients.
- Perform initial assessments and reassessments, including six-month reassessments.
- Provide in-services or classes.
- Provide aide orientation and, when needed, additional clinical training for a case, such as Hoyer lift training with a caregiver in the home.
- Complete office work as needed.
