RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Registered Nurses to provide direct, one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically fragile children and young adults in their homes in Longmont, Colorado, and surrounding areas. Nurses serve as clinicians, advocates, educators, and partners to families managing complex care needs. The organization is nurse-founded and clinically led and has served the medically fragile community since 2000. The role includes assessing patients, administering prescribed medications and treatments, following physician orders and plans of care, coordinating with physicians and caregivers, educating patients and families, promoting patient safety, and responding to changes in condition. New RN graduates are welcome, with training provided. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and shifts of 8, 10, 12, or 16 hours. Days, nights, and weekend shifts are available, with 24/7 clinical and operational support.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Ability to provide care in a home environment.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home health experience.
- Experience with high-acuity care, including tracheostomy, ventilator, or G-tube care.
- New RN graduates are welcome; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled registered nursing care in a home health setting.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Deliver care in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and family members to support improved outcomes.
- Implement preventive measures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in a patient’s condition.
