About The Position

The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients’ status, plans of care, and achievement of goals. Care is provided compassionately, professionally, ethically, and knowledgeably, based on the Caring Model and in accordance with Rush Copley’s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. The nurse is expected to uphold ethical and safe processes while prioritizing patient care. The position works closely with the multidisciplinary team and requires an understanding of personal limitations, including seeking advice, judgment, and support from others when necessary.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of hospital experience.
• A BSN degree is required within 5 years of hire if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ status and plan, implement, and evaluate their care and goal achievement.
