Baptist Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment. Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
ACLS Required within 6 months for Adult ED’s
PALS required within one year of hire

Responsibilities

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
