About The Position

At Kennesaw, we are seeking a Full Time Nurse for day shift 1st Shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM), includes every other weekend and some holidays. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Weekend availability and holidays required.
• Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
