Registered Nurse, HICU- FT Nights
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring nurses for its HICU® Health Services team in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The HICU® Health Services Hospital at Home Nurse works as part of a team and as an extension of a hospital care team, delivering skilled nursing care to infants and young children transitioning from the hospital to home. Nurses provide one-on-one care to clients and their families during the initial weeks of homecare, along with extensive training for the family and ongoing care team. The position is advertised for full-time night work; the description also notes that full-time and part-time scheduling is available. Pay is $45–$50 per hour, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is advertised. Benefits and eligibility may vary by position.
Requirements
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- At least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
- NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care tracheostomy/ventilator experience.
- Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality skilled nursing care to infants and young children in their homes as they transition from hospital care.
- Work in a team-based environment as an extension of a hospital care team.
- Provide care to clients and their families during the initial weeks of homecare.
- Provide extensive training to the family and ongoing care team.
