Registered Nurse FT Nights
About The Position
Kindred Hospital Northland is a 50-bed long-term acute care hospital providing extended recovery care comparable to that received in a traditional hospital, including a six-bed high observation unit. The hospital provides 24-hour clinical care, seven days a week, and serves chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients. The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, coordinates care planning with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff, communicates changes in patient condition, and participates in discharge planning. This is a full-time night-shift role with three 12-hour shifts per week. Pay is up to $52 per hour, based on years of experience, and the posting offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification is preferred.
- At least six months of experience as a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patients’ clinical conditions with physicians, the Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and coworkers as appropriate.
- Participate in the discharge planning process.
