About The Position

This remote contract role applies inpatient nursing expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. The nurse reviews and annotates clinical content and inpatient documentation, evaluates AI-generated clinical outputs, and provides real-world input to improve model performance. No prior AI experience is required.

Requirements

• Inpatient clinical expertise and knowledge of inpatient workflows.
• Clinical documentation review and medical-record annotation skills.
• Nursing judgment and ability to evaluate AI-generated clinical outputs.

• Written and verbal communication skills, including providing feedback and collaborating with stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Based in the United States and able to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
• Recent inpatient bedside RN experience.
• Broad clinical exposure and comfort reviewing documentation across different inpatient populations rather than a narrow specialty.
• Experience in an academic or large health system, such as a large teaching hospital, with exposure to complex patients, workflows, and documentation practices.
• Previous annotation experience with positive performance reviews.
• Strong clarity and attention to detail in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and review nursing notes, progress notes, care plans, orders, lab results, discharge summaries, and other inpatient documentation for accuracy, clinical soundness, and completeness.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness across inpatient populations and care scenarios.
• Use bedside nursing judgment and knowledge of inpatient workflows, standards of care, and documentation practices to validate and enrich datasets.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in clinical documentation.
• Provide feedback on guidelines and edge cases to improve project workflows and model understanding.
