Registered Nurse-Intermediate Care Unit/SICU-Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to all patient populations in the Intermediate Care Unit/SICU at Skokie Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care; maintains regulatory compliance; and assumes responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care. The role also guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel and contributes to patient safety and a high-quality patient experience. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends. No travel is required.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of prior nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
