About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center–Lake Pointe in Rowlett, Texas, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, has 20 beds, and typically has patient ratios of 1:4–5. It is a Level III trauma center, a chest pain-accredited center, and a stroke-receiving center. The department averages 100 patients per day and receives approximately 20–30 EMS ambulances per day.

This is a full-time night-shift role. Candidates must have at least two years of recent Emergency Department RN experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to external candidates who meet the minimum experience requirement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program.
• RN license.
• At least two years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), or obtain it within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or obtain it within 18 months of hire or transfer.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), or obtain it within 18 months of hire or transfer.
