About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) role requires at least two years of Medical Surgical experience and prior travel nursing experience. The nurse will provide care across multiple units and must be prepared to float between the medical floor and surgical/oncology departments. The position is described as being in the vicinity of multiple locations within a specified city and state. Candidates must provide complete demographic information when applying and accommodate floating requirements and scheduling requests outlined during submission.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to accommodate floating requirements and scheduling requests outlined during submission.
• Provide complete demographic information at the time of application submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across various units while following established protocols and standards.
• Manage patient assignments with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 6.
• Use Epic electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.
• Float between departments as required.
