About The Position

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed acute care hospital in Palmdale, California, and part of the Southwest Healthcare network. The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool PACU/ICU provides and monitors safe, cost-effective patient care within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with the organization’s nursing policies and procedures. The role applies knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques and floats to assigned areas as requested.

Requirements

• Two years of RN experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required.
• Current California RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• IV experience required.

Nice To Haves

• A.A., diploma, or B.S.N. preferred.
