About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse, for our Float Pool (Med Surg/ICU) Level III who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- Graduation from of an accredited nursing program
- 1 year of experience in (ICU/Med Surg)
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, intervention & evaluation of patient care at the bedside.
- Documentation(electronic) of patient care and outcomes.
- Delegation of tasks to non-licensed personnel.
- Serves as a preceptor or mentor for new staff, externs or students.
- Participates in unit quality initiatives.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
