Registered Nurse - PCU
About The Position
Registered Nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with telemetry responsibilities. First-time travelers are accepted. The nurse may float between units and is expected to work six weekend shifts during each six-week schedule period. Block scheduling is not required, and on-call work is not required. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Forty-eight-hour schedules are approved. The role is at a short-term acute care facility with 379 staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center. Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping, but printed tops are not permitted except in specified pediatric and women’s services areas. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces in surface lots marked Employee/Visitor Parking.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- At least one year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
- Wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; printed tops are not permitted except in specified areas.
