About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Wound Center Department at our Bucyrus location. The RN will perform the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Wound Healing Center. This role is responsible for meeting established WHC Standards of Nursing Practice in managing assigned patients, assisting physicians with wound treatment plans, and participating in performance improvement activities. The position operates within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV standards, and professional/ethical practice.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare is required.
Nice To Haves
- Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Wound Healing Center.
- Meet the established WHC Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of all assigned patients.
- Assist physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans.
- Participate in performance improvement review activities.
- Act within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV standards and professional and ethical practice.
