About The Position

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to clients in their homes. The nurse supervises and directs caregivers involved in a client’s plan of care. Depending on state regulations, the role may include administrative and/or field and clinical responsibilities. All Ways Caring HomeCare provides individualized care and support to help people remain at home while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and independence. Its services include personal care and homemaking, professional nursing, older adult care management, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and respite care.

Requirements

Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of operation.
Professional CPR certification.
Excellent communication skills with personnel at all levels, both internal and external to the company.
Ability to work independently with highly confidential information.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care and treatment to clients according to physicians’ orders and plans of care.
Document nursing actions and care provided, and inform physicians and family members accordingly.
Administer and monitor medications and medication management as prescribed by physicians.
Conduct nursing assessment visits as needed.
Follow operational, state, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Complete supervisory visits as required, including reviewing plans of care, assessing caregiver competency, and completing required documentation.
Implement nursing support for individuals in a home setting.
Work with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor, and/or Branch Manager to address individuals’ health needs.
Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and other meetings as needed.
Ensure compliance with physicians’ verbal orders and medical reports.
