About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care. The professional nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for appropriately delegating patient care to other members of the health care team. This is a part-time, on-site day-shift role at Lourdes Health System, with 24 total weekly hours.

Requirements

• NJ RN License.
• Associate’s degree required.
• 0–1 years of experience required.
• Refer to the Educational/Regulatory Requirement (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administrative Manual.

Nice To Haves

• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participate in clinical decision-making.
• Educate patients and their families or responsible parties about disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety issues.
• Delegate and monitor care provided by other members of the nursing department and health care team.
• Participate in orientation, education, and development of the health care team.
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
