About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide acute-care dialysis in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Paid training is provided; prior dialysis experience is not required. The nurse may work across a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. Scheduling includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs. The position is part of DaVita’s inpatient program. Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in the program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment.
