About The Position

Nura Precision Pain Management provides chronic pain management treatment at its clinics and surgery centers. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for patients receiving procedural treatments and surgeries at its Edina facility. The role uses the nursing process in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures, supports patients throughout their procedural care, and contributes to efficient, cost-effective facility operations. The position is advertised with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Successfully complete an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Hold current Minnesota registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Be BLS and ACLS certified, or obtain certification within three months of employment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, judgment, communication, and analytical skills.
• Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients, peers, providers, management, and visitors.
• Promote a favorable facility image with patients, providers, and outside representatives.
• Be able to make decisions and solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate leadership and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous pain management experience.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process and nursing skills in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient flow from admission through discharge.
• Start IVs and administer conscious sedation.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Recover patients in the PACU.
• Provide patients with educational materials and explanations.
• Potentially learn the circulator role in the OR.
• Manage and triage pre- and post-procedural and surgical phone calls.
• Work as a team member to complete necessary duties efficiently and cost-effectively.
