Registered Nurse Clinic Occupational Health and Wellness
About The Position
This role involves providing prevention, recognition, and treatment of occupational illnesses and injuries for StarPlus employees. The Registered Nurse will deliver nursing care in compliance with federal and state regulations and StarPlus health service policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, managing medical emergencies, and coordinating appropriate follow-up care or referrals. The nurse will maintain accurate and confidential medical records consistent with legal and company standards and collaborate with safety, HR, and environmental teams to identify and mitigate workplace health risks. This position requires autonomous work with minimal supervision, often serving as the primary on-site medical provider.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
Nice To Haves
- Experienced RN with Occupational Health experience preferred.
