About The Position

This role focuses on providing care within the Associate and Occupational Health department at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for treating job-related injuries and illnesses, conducting health screenings and immunization clinics, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations. The position also involves employee counseling, monitoring safety trends, and collaborating with colleagues to identify and mitigate safety risks. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and Saturdays for specific clinics.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for job related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations.
• May also conduct safety training programs.
• Provide employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
• Monitor trends and causes of employee safety events and work with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.
