About The Position
Rainbow Gardens Adult Day Center is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care to adults and seniors in its Adult Day Program. The role is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and works day shifts, including some Saturdays. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with participants and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support participants’ independence, well-being, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
- Current Maryland RN license required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
- Bilingual Russian speaking preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and nursing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor participant health and address medical concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Provide medical guidance and training to program staff.
- Participate in care planning and provide nursing expertise.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, person-centered environment.
