About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team in Ocala, Florida. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-acuity setting. The Emergency Department is a Level 2 Trauma Center with 31 beds, a staff of 60, and patient ratios of 4:1. The unit uses Meditech electronic medical records. The dress code requires navy scrubs. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to support a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in emergency and trauma care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
