About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Department at Stratford General Hospital. This is a temporary part-time position with a commitment of 22.5 hours in a 2-week period. Requirements
- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
Nice To Haves
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred
- Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC)
- Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS)
- Trauma Management
Responsibilities
- Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale
- 12 lead ECG Interpretation
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
