About The Position

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department in Stratford, Ontario. HPHA is a multi-site organization committed to proactive change, partnerships, performance, and valuing its people. This full-time position is located at Stratford General Hospital.

Requirements

Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and problem solve.

Nice To Haves

Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred.
Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS).
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC).
Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS).
Trauma Management.

Responsibilities

Provide paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale.
Perform 12 lead ECG Interpretation.
Administer Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
