About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric and adult care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality private duty nursing to clients in their homes, caring for one client at a time and building relationships while supporting clients’ milestones. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric adults. Nurses travel to a nearby client’s home and work a schedule chosen around their availability. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours. Scheduling is flexible with no minimum hours, and full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules are available. BAYADA offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, one-on-one client care, and short commutes near home. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a schedule chosen by the nurse.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care and build relationships with clients.
