Registered Nurse (RN) - ER
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room uses critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position is day shift and full-time. Qualified candidates may receive a signing-on bonus of up to $15,000, paid over 24 months. The role is based at Delray Medical Center, a 536-bed acute care hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center serving southern Palm Beach County. The center provides specialized services including emergency care, cardiac and vascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences, and weight-loss surgery.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- One year of ER RN experience.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
- NIH Stroke certification within 60 days of hire.
- PALS certification: within 90 days of hire or transfer for inexperienced candidates; at hire or transfer for experienced candidates.
- TNCC certification within two years of hire or transfer for inexperienced candidates.
