About The Position

Anchor Hospital is a 122-bed facility in College Park, Georgia, specializing in behavioral health and addictive disease treatment for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. The Registered Nurse promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care to patients who may require dual-diagnosis, chemical-dependency, or psychiatric care. The RN ensures nursing resources are adequate to support optimal care and collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish treatment goals. Duties may include processing patient admissions, developing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and providing medication education. The position is part-time, with two 12-hour shifts per week and an every-other-weekend requirement. The listed hours are 7 a.m. to an unspecified end time; shift differential applies.

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Georgia, or eligibility to receive or renew one.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• COVID vaccination is required.

• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting is preferred.
