About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate private-duty homecare to a child with low-acuity needs, including G-tube care, in Edgewater, Florida. Nurses work with the care team to support patients and achieve strong clinical outcomes. Aveanna provides a tablet in each patient’s home for electronic documentation and offers 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians.

The listed schedule is Sunday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Tuesday 2:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m., Friday 2:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m., and every other Saturday 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Aveanna describes flexible scheduling and offers full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities; the employment status for this specific schedule is not stated.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where practicing.
• Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Have current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
• Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
• Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required.
