About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide private-duty homecare to a child with low acuity and a G tube in Edgewater, Florida. Care is delivered with compassion and empathy, with nurses working to achieve strong clinical outcomes. The patient’s home has a tablet for electronic documentation. Aveanna provides 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians, career pathing, opportunities for skill advancement, and paid training. Schedule: Sunday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Tuesday 2:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.; Friday 2:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.; and every other Saturday 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Flexible scheduling options are also described as available, including full-time, part-time, or PRN, with day, night, and weekend shifts accommodated based on availability. Benefit eligibility may vary by employment status and location.

Requirements

Maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where practicing.
Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
Hold current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this requirement after hire if necessary.
Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required.
