Registered Nurse (RN) -$60/hr| Florida Market Traveler
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Florida Market travel position. The role involves traveling to any of the company's hospitals nationwide, with travel expenses reimbursed by the company. This is a benefits-eligible opportunity offering $60 per hour. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The nurse may also perform other related duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles.
- ACLS certification is required after 90 days of employment; the employer offers help obtaining ACLS.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with ventilators, tracheostomies, and PICC lines.
- Two years of direct patient care experience.
- Current ACLS certification initially.
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit.

- Participate in interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families about post-hospitalization care.
- Help patients access community resources.
