About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse provides direct patient care as the primary caregiver and collaborates with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and making decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The position is on the 4W Orthopedics unit in Chillicothe and is part-time at 60%, typically two 12-hour night shifts per week. A patient ratio of 1:3–4 applies to PCU and 1:5–6 to Med Surg. The nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
