About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate each patient’s plan of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

This is a part-time orthopedic nursing position in the 4W department in Chillicothe, working two 12.5-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. Patient ratios are 1:3–4 for PCU and 1:5–6 for Med Surg. Hourly pay is based on years of nursing experience and education.
