About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System, you implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. You advocate for patients and help provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. In the Maternal Child Float role, you float between Pediatrics, Mother Baby, and low-acuity NICU. The position is part-time on 12-hour night shifts, with every third weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) and every other holiday required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Indiana RN license.
• CPR certification upon hire or ability to attain it within 60 days.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in Pediatrics, Mother Baby, or NICU; new graduate RNs will also be considered.

Responsibilities
