About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Pulmonary team in Lafayette as an Ambulatory RN. The nurse provides clinical support to a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers, including telephone triage, prescription refills, Cerner Message Center communications, vaccinations, and other patient care activities. The role offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule with no weekends or holidays. The team supports cross-training and professional growth, with educational opportunities such as specialty-focused learning sessions led by department physician leadership.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates who did not graduate from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Awareness and understanding of the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
