About The Position

Saint Luke’s Hospital is a Magnet Designated, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Academic Medical Center. The Registered Nurse will provide critical patient care to high-acuity patients from various Intensive Care Units with a range of conditions, treatments, care plans, and acuity levels. This may include ICU overflow, chest tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, pulmonary care, and care following innovative valve and transplant procedures. In the hospital setting, the nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care, delegate care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff. The nurse coordinates care for assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team as indicated to support optimal patient outcomes. The nurse demonstrates proficiency and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Registered Nurse – Various.
Associate degree.

Responsibilities
