About The Position

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients, directing and coordinating all nursing care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, providing patient education, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining professional development and image.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Continuous certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
Attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain continuous certification.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients.
Direct and coordinate all nursing care for your assigned patients, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient care delivery.
Maintain accurate data collection and ensure documentation reflects the care provided, adhering to hospital policies and timeframes.
Provide timely health information and written materials to patients and their significant others, documenting these interactions.
Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care through participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Accept accountability for your practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies.
Consistently project a positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
