RN- U3W Acute Care Ortho/Bariatric
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. The RN performs other duties as assigned and carries out all responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. This is a full-time position at KH Miamisburg on the U3W Acute Care Ortho/Bariatric unit, working 12-hour day shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- No prior clinical experience is required; clinical experience during a nursing program is accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to the clinical area.
