About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry. This role provides high-quality patient care in an acute care setting and calls for advanced telemetry experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Assignments may involve multiple locations within the region, including Laconia, New Hampshire. The role provides a 48-hour guarantee and is open to first-time travelers with relevant experience. The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care is essential.

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with a focus on MedSurg and Telemetry.
• Completion of a skills checklist matching the specialty.
• Full NURSYS report for license verification.
• Relevant experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic environment, with a willingness to float if necessary.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.

Nice To Haves

• Cerner experience is preferred but not required.
• First-time travelers are welcome if they have relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data to ensure patient safety and effective care.
• Administer medications, including Cardizem and insulin drips for hyperglycemia, excluding DKA.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in floating to alternative locations as requested in emergencies.
