The secondary patient population (30%) is Medical Oncology, caring for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation, and managing cancer-related symptoms and supportive care for advanced or metastatic diseases. A tertiary patient population (10%) includes General Medical/Surgical patients requiring intermediate care in an acute setting non-related to underlying malignancies. Our unit values excellence, teamwork, and learning, offering an ideal environment for nurses interested in oncology and surgical care.
