About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery. The role is PRN (as needed) and involves day shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM), Monday through Friday. The PACU department offers the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team, a diverse patient population, and cutting-edge medical technology. Requirements

Nursing Diploma in nursing or Associate’s degree in nursing or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
1 year of experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency.
Recent PACU or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire.
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire.
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days.
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days.
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
