About The Position

Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its Critical Care Float Pool. The RN manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of safe, high-quality health care. Care may be delivered directly by the RN or coordinated and supervised when delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. The schedule is 0.75 FTE, with straight overnight 12-hour shifts and every third weekend.

Requirements

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Critical care experience is preferred.
• BSN is preferred; a BSN is generally expected within two years of hire.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.
