Registered Nurse - PACU

About The Position
The Registered Nurse will provide preoperative and post-anesthesia care at The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The position works a day schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m., and includes call. Call requirements include every third or fourth weekend. The patient ratio is 1:1. The unit cares for patients undergoing procedures including CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, fem-pop/fem-tib-peroneal bypass, angiogram, pulmonary decortication, and ablation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Preoperative and postoperative experience required.
- Epic experience required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Level 1 trauma or outpatient experience.
- PACU experience.
- ACLS certification.
- Previous charge experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative and post-anesthesia care.
- Care for patients undergoing the procedures listed for the unit.
- Participate in call coverage, including every third or fourth weekend.
